  • 1 10-oz. package dried pitted plums
  • 1 7-oz. package dried apricots
  • 1 can of apple pie filling
  • 2 cups of apple juice
  • ⅔  cup of dry sherry
  • ½ cup of golden raisins
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ cup of ground pistachio nuts
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • lemon zest for garnish
  • Recipe for basic crepes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place first 7 ingredients in a shallow baking dish. Stir together to mix. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.

While fruit is baking, make pistachio crepes. Add ground nuts to our basic crepe recipe. Next, make your crepes by following our 6 easy steps in How to Make Crepes. You will need 8 crepes for this recipe.

Meanwhile, mix honey and sour cream. Chill.

After fruit has baked, remove and discard cinnamon stick. Lay first crepe flat on a serving dish. Using a slotted spoon, ladle ½ cup of fruit compote across the center of crepe. Roll up. Top with 1 tbsp of honey-cream mixture and sprinkle with lemon zest and extra pistachios, if desired. Repeat with remaining crepes. Serve immediately.
