Apple dessert recipes for crepes are some of the best desserts you can make because they're popular with everyone.
This recipe starts with pre-made crepes and apple pie filling. Top it off with a special crumb recipe that will remind you of your favorite Dutch apple pie.
The advantage of using apples is, that it gives your dessert crepe that special flavor - between sweet and sour. A chocolate crepe can be too sweet for some, whereas the apple makes it lighter and fresher.
An apple crepe is perfect for autumn when you have them handy, maybe even from your own tree, or with cinnamon it can bring back wonderful Christmas memories.

Sprinkle crumb mixture equally over top of crepes. Bake for 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown. The crepes will be slightly crispy.
Remove from oven and using a spatula, place each crepe on a separate serving dish. Top with ice cream and walnut pieces, if desired. Serve immediately.
